The Gord Downie & Chanie Wenjack Fund is part of Gord Downie’s legacy and embodies his commitment, and that of his family, to improving lives of First Peoples in Canada. In collaboration with the Wenjack Family, the goal of the Fund is to continue the conversation that began with Chanie Wenjack’s residential school story, and to aid our collective reconciliation journey through a combination of awareness, education, and action.

The shirts feature the DWF Funds logo (back) along with True North Grit’s CrossFit affiliate logo on the front. The shirt commemorates this years “CrossFit Open” in which people from all over the world complete prescribed workouts of all levels and experience to promote health, fitness, and community.

Finally, a line from the Tragically Hip’s song, “Grace, too” are featured that resonate with the TNG brand and have valuable meaning in our definition of GRIT!
